A printer can be a big part of routine work in a business office. That's why, when the printer starts to print documents incorrectly, it's important to calibrate the printer as soon as possible. The calibration process will make sure that the documents you're printing are crisp and colored correctly. If your company uses a Canon printer, you can calibrate the device directly from the printer without having to use a computer.
1.Power on your Canon printer and allow it one or two minutes to go through its initialization process.
2.Place a sheet of paper in the feeder if one is not already present. The printer will need this for calibration later in the process.
3.Press the 'Menu' button and use the built-in scroll wheel to select the 'Adjust Printer' option.

Choose the 'Calibration' option. When the next set of options is visible on the screen, select 'Auto Adjust' and select 'Yes.' Press the 'OK' button on the printer to begin the calibration process. The printer will print out a test sheet. Look at the test sheet to make sure the colors look right and everything is straight.
